Matous Construction, Ltd. awarded TXMAS contract number TXMAS-12-03FAC060. The TXMAS (Texas Multiple Award Schedule) Program adapts existing competitively awarded government contracts to the procurement needs of the State of Texas.

The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Services awarded Matous Construction, Ltd. contract number GS-21F-0010Y effective November 1, 2011. This program establishes long-term Governmentwide contracts with commercial firms to provide Goernment agencies with access to a wide variety of commercial supplies and services.

It’s considered the Oscars of construction The 2010 Excellence in Construction Award of Excellence was awarded to Matous Construction, Ltd. by the Central Texas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). The Excellence in Construction Eagle Award strives to honor those who exemplify the highest quality of workmanship in their projects, while upholding a dedication to building projects on time and on budget.
Matous Construction, Ltd. was awarded a $14 Million dollar contract to build the 7.08 MGD Water Treatment Plant at Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir by Kempner Water Supply Corporation in October, 2008. The WTP has been operational since May, 2010, and is a reliable, cost-effective source of treated surface water for Bell and Lampasas County residents. “Everyone involved from Matous Construction went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the project was a success,” stated Perry C. Steger, P.E., President of Project Engineering Firm, Steger Bizzell. “On many occasions, Matous met with success challenges that many contractors would have balked at or not been able to achieve and always went above and beyond to meet those challenges,” acknowledged David Sneed, General Manager of Kempner Water Supply Corporation.
